Inland Empire Percussion was formed in 2024 by Spokane percussionist Jonathan Williams. Under his direction, the group is committed to providing percussion education and entertainment for the greater Spokane region. About the director
Jonathan is a passionate music educator and percussionist with a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from Eastern Washington University. With extensive performance experience, including symphonies, musicals, jazz ensembles, and drum corps, he brings a rich background to his teaching. Since 2020, Jonathan has worked as a private percussion instructor, teaching students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced. He has also served as a clinician and educator in local schools and universities. Jonathan specializes in teaching drum set and classical percussion, helping students build strong foundational skills and excel in their musical journeys.
